Following precise and functional phase of picking and retrieval of goods and materials from the warehouse, these are catalogued, organized and, if necessary, sorted to the specific stations designated for packing and packaging.
Specialized workers are tasked with figuring out the best, most appropriate packaging to ensure the integrity of the transported goods based on their size, weight. Volume, the materials they are made of and the specific technical specs. The preparation of the cargo is done when the proper documentation is attached and the package is collected on a pallet or in a container.

How does your cargo get packaged?
Once the picking and warehouse managing phases are done, the goods must:
- Identified.
- Organized.
- Sorted in specific workstations to be packaged.
- Wrapped and packed appropriately.
- The packaging must be equipped with invoice, freight bill and identification code.
- Finally, the goods are placed on the pallet or in the container to be loaded in the designated vehicle.
To best execute these steps, our team will handle:
📦 Choosing the best packaging solutions for the goods, based on:
- Size
- Number of products in the same order.
- Specific characteristics of the product (hazards, weight, bulkiness, materials, etc.)
The choice of packaging and wrapping used is essential to protect the contents during the entire shipping process.
📋 Verifying that every article and product in the package corresponds to the identification code and the characteristics already written down, to avoid unpleasant accidents during shipping and delivery.
📄 Finally, packing experts will attach the shipping label to the cargo. The label must be positioned on the exterior of the package or on the protective packaging (if different from standard), must be easily legible and easy to find. On the label the following information must be present:
- Identification code of the product for tracking purposes.
- Order code for reference.
- Shipping address and recipient.
On PALLETS and in CONTAINERS
Based on the kind of freight delivery, some goods may be positioned on pallets, especially for long routes and big cargos.
When palletized:
- They are sorted and positioned in an orderly fashion.
- The pallets are wrapped in protective extensible plastic film.
- Finally, the pallet and respective packages are labelled.
Based on the type of transport or in the case of a scheduled shipment the pallets are neatly arranged in the container destined for road freight but also sea and air transport if necessary.
Order Consolidation and Grouping
During the Packing phase, intermediate operations of CONSOLIDATION of goods or GROUPING of products packed on an order basis may be necessary. Precision is also a must at this stage to avoid delivery errors or transportation issues.
